Just traded in my Keeway V-Cruise 125 for a Kawasaki ER-6f through John at BigMoto Yarmouth and couldn’t be happier with how it all went. John gave me a really fair price for my trade-in, and the whole process was easy, straightforward and enjoyable from start to finish. No pressure, no hassle, just honest and friendly service. The Keeway was originally bought from BigMoto as well, so it was nice to come back and have another great experience with them. Hopefully my old man will be John’s next sale too, as he’s got his eye on the gorgeous Triumph Thunderbird 1700 they’ve currently got in stock! Avoid this dealership completely. I purchased a 2014 KTM 690 SMC R (registration FXZ5144) from them and within days discovered multiple serious faults that were either missed or deliberately not disclosed. I’ve since had the bike inspected by an official KTM dealership and received a repair invoice of over £1,000. The issues included: A rear brake that did not work whatsoever — it couldn’t even hold the bike on a slight incline Fork seals leaking oil directly onto the front brake assembly A loose headlight bulb that had fallen out of position inside the headlight unit A faulty rear number plate/light assembly that required replacement A lowering link fitted to the bike that was never disclosed in the advert 5-year-old tyres fitted to the bike despite it being sold as ready to ride Around 10 loose bolts and multiple miscellaneous parts/items that needed replacing or properly securing Even more concerning, the bike had apparently passed an MOT with a rear brake that was completely ineffective. What makes this even worse is that the fork seals and oil had supposedly been replaced by Big Moto only a month earlier — and only because I specifically said I wouldn’t buy the bike unless the forks were serviced, as they felt terrible during viewing. Despite that work supposedly being carried out, the seals were already leaking badly again almost immediately. The bike was collected from me yesterday, and unbelievably it’s already back up for sale on Auto Trader. The advert still does not disclose the lowering link or any of the faults identified on the bike. From the photos they’ve uploaded to the new auto trader add and that I've shared with this review, you can clearly still see the loose headlight bulb sitting incorrectly inside the headlight — one of the exact faults KTM identified and quoted to repair. That tells me the bike has simply been relisted without properly fixing the issues that made it unsafe and not as described in the first place. What’s worrying is that almost every single person I’ve mentioned Big Moto to since buying the bike — whether staff in motorcycle gear shops, other dealers, or fellow riders — has immediately warned me about the condition of bikes they sell and the experiences they’ve had or heard about. Sadly, this is also the second bad experience I’ve personally had with this dealership. To top it all off, I’m now left out of pocket by over £500 after paying for two brand new tyres, buying bike-specific accessories that are now non-returnable, and covering the cost of cancelling my insurance. Extremely disappointed with the experience and the apparent lack of honesty and basic safety standards. I would strongly recommend anyone considering buying from them to get an independent inspection before handing over any money. You can clearly see in the photos I captured from their new auto trader add that the bulb is still loose.

Big shout out to Jamie & Matt for their outstanding customer service and helpful knowledge when we purchased our son’s first bike with them. They made the whole process so easy and even stayed back late whilst our son got used to his first ride on the bike. Clearly not interested in selling bikes and will end up the same as Superbike factory, tried to call 12 times in past 24hrs and nobody ever picks up the phone. Clearly a poor start and if not interested in picking up a phone in sales god only knows what the after service would be like if any issues. Just to let you know Great Yarmouth you have just lost a sale
