Having qualified as a mediator I wanted to undertake post qualification mediation observations with a UK Mediator registered with the UK Civil Mediation Council. I was happy to learn that Harvinder Singh Bhurji provided observations via zoom. This was important as I am not UK-based. Within a short time-frame, I observed Harvinder mediate in a commercial dispute. Harvinder led the parties to an agreement within hours. Impressed by the learning experience, I look forward to observing him again.

I am a lawyer and mediator, and I am very grateful to Harvinder for allowing me to observe one of his mediations, a builder dispute which settled. Harvinder mediated for our family back in 2019, he had an impressive CV and is fluently in Punjabi, something which was important to my father. Which made him feel more at ease culturally, even though he can fluently speak English. We had to instigate proceedings against a national firm of solicitors who had misadvised us on a business purchase which caused us a £350k loss. This was a contract dispute for £20,000 we had issued court proceedings.
