Two things will happen:
1. You’ll move to the front of the repair queue and your home will be fixed
2. You’ll be awarded compensation or a rent rebate
You’ve been paying full rent for a house that’s not up to standard — so you may get some of that money back. You’ll also be compensated for anything damaged, like furniture, clothes, toys, electronics, or decorations.”
