Good workmanship can be hard to find nowadays. Hayler & Smart were recommended to me and one en-suite renovation, one kitchen renovation, one bathroom renovation and some renewed fencing later, I have no hesitation in adding my personal recommendation. If you are not happy with anything, they will not be happy either and will go above and beyond to achieve 100% satisfaction with their work. Unfailingly polite, efficient and patient with meeting your requirements, they are totally trustworthy. As a bonus they are always good-humoured and a pleasure to have working in your home. You will be delighted with the finished result of whatever work they complete for you.

I can’t recommend Richard and Duncan highly enough. Over the years, they have completed many jobs for me, including installing two bathrooms, decorating both internally and externally, repairing walls and fencing, sorting out guttering, and countless other jobs around the house. There really seems to be no job too big or too small for them. They are always reliable, friendly, professional and incredibly tidy, and their work is consistently completed to a very high standard. They are also very fair and reasonable with their pricing, which is increasingly hard to find. Duncan Smart was absolutely amazing and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He was reliable, entirely trustworthy and managed to do extra ‘handyman’ jobs over and above the external painting that he did with great care. I will definitely employ him again without hesitation.
