Jordan went above and beyond helping us book our private tour, and I truly can’t say enough good things about him. He made sure everything was absolutely perfect before we even arrived in Scotland from Canada. Thank you will never feel like enough for everything you did for us. And then there was Ricky… WOW! What an unforgettable day we had with him as our tour guide. He is absolutely hilarious, an absolute gem of a person, and unbelievably knowledgeable about the history of Scotland. Just when I thought the experience couldn’t get any better, he turned out to be an incredible photographer too! He gave us amazing tips on where to capture the most beautiful photos and even became our personal photographer for the day. He even stopped to pick us wildflowers along the way, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch that made the day feel even more special. At one point my daughter got sick in the van, and Ricky handled everything so professionally and with such kindness and care toward both my daughter and me. That truly spoke volumes about him and this company. I would highly recommend booking a tour with them. We shared so many laughs, and even standing in a torrential downpour feeding the Hairy Coos ended up being one of the best experiences of my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Jordan and Ricky, for making our day so incredibly special and perfect.

Absolutely incredible experience. My wife and I visited the UK for vacation and spent our final few days in Scotland. We have done several tours like this in a number of countries, and Ricky was the best guide we’ve ever had. His knowledge and passion for history were amazing, and it was just a joy to spend the day with him filled with incredible sights and stories. We enjoyed staying in Edinburgh, but taking a day-trip out of the city was the highlight of our trip. The natural beauty of the highlands was almost unreal at times. Being on a private tour gave us the opportunity to explore and see some areas that the large bus tours can’t even get to, and the trip was personalized around us which made it extra special. We honestly could not have asked for a better experience, and I cannot recommend this tour enough. Our guide was phenomenal, the tour company was communicative (I booked with them directly) and everything was on-time and as-promised. We are already planning a return visit so we can do one of Uncover Scotland’s multi-day tours.

Had a sensational 4-day experience in the Scottish Highlands and surrounding area with Uncover Scotland. Not only did we get to explore some mesmerizing places like Eilean Donan Castle, Storr, and Glencoe, but the quality of our tour made the trip top-notch. Our guide Ricky took care of our every need whilst going above and beyond when he didn’t have to. For instance, we had 1 family member who was quite ill and nautious for part of the trip, however, we knew that Ricky always had her health and well-being in mind through his compassion and forward thinking/planning. Moreover, his knowledge of Scotland and its history was truly impressive. Not only did he explain the significance of countless historic areas, but was genuinely passionate about Scotland’s history.

Ricky was our tour leader on the 4 Day Best of Scotland Tour package. What a fantastic experience for our family! Ricky went above and beyond, giving us special treatment and making sure he knew what each of us wanted to see and learn about the sites on the tour. The locations are so beautiful and Ricky gave us information and history on the locations and was able to tell us so much about Scotland. The overnight accommodations were fantastic and Ricky made sure our shopping and dining requests were looked after. What a great way to experience seeing Scotland!
