Jordan went above and beyond helping us book our private tour, and I truly can’t say enough good things about him. He made sure everything was absolutely perfect before we even arrived in Scotland from Canada. Thank you will never feel like enough for everything you did for us. And then there was Ricky… WOW! What an unforgettable day we had with him as our tour guide. He is absolutely hilarious, an absolute gem of a person, and unbelievably knowledgeable about the history of Scotland. Just when I thought the experience couldn’t get any better, he turned out to be an incredible photographer too! He gave us amazing tips on where to capture the most beautiful photos and even became our personal photographer for the day. He even stopped to pick us wildflowers along the way, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch that made the day feel even more special. At one point my daughter got sick in the van, and Ricky handled everything so professionally and with such kindness and care toward both my daughter and me. That truly spoke volumes about him and this company. I would highly recommend booking a tour with them. We shared so many laughs, and even standing in a torrential downpour feeding the Hairy Coos ended up being one of the best experiences of my life. At every turn, we were given options and recommendations, allowing us to tailor the day based on our interests and energy level. It felt less like a tour and more like exploring Scotland with a knowledgeable local friend. And speaking of friends—we absolutely fell in love with our guide, Ricky. His warmth, humor, knowledge, and passion for Scotland made the experience unforgettable. He shared fascinating stories, answered every question, and somehow managed to make every stop even more meaningful. By the end of the day, it felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend rather than a tour guide—and if we could have fit Ricky in our luggage, we absolutely would have taken him home with us! My wife and I had a fantastic 3-day Highland tour with Billy. The sights were incredible but Billy really made the tour feel special. At the end of it we felt like we were saying goodbye to family. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Absolutely incredible experience. My wife and I visited the UK for vacation and spent our final few days in Scotland. We have done several tours like this in a number of countries, and Ricky was the best guide we’ve ever had. His knowledge and passion for history were amazing, and it was just a joy to spend the day with him filled with incredible sights and stories. We enjoyed staying in Edinburgh, but taking a day-trip out of the city was the highlight of our trip. The natural beauty of the highlands was almost unreal at times. Being on a private tour gave us the opportunity to explore and see some areas that the large bus tours can’t even get to, and the trip was personalized around us which made it extra special. We honestly could not have asked for a better experience, and I cannot recommend this tour enough. Our guide was phenomenal, the tour company was communicative (I booked with them directly) and everything was on-time and as-promised. We are already planning a return visit so we can do one of Uncover Scotland’s multi-day tours.
