We had a fantastic one-day tour of the Scottish Highlands! A big thank you to our driver, Ross, who provided thoughtful and informative commentary throughout the journey. He was friendly, professional, and made everyone feel very comfortable. His driving skills were excellent, which made the whole trip feel safe and relaxing. This was my first time visiting Scotland, and I was truly amazed by the stunning natural scenery. It left a lasting impression on me, and I will definitely come back again to experience the incredible charm of nature here. Highly recommended!

Amazing Highlands day tour, Ross made it unforgettable We had a wonderful day on the 1 Day Glenfinnan, Glencoe and Scottish Highlands Tour with The Hairy Coo. It was a long day, but honestly it was completely worth it. The route was beautiful, with so many different parts of Scotland packed into one day, dramatic Highland scenery, Glencoe, Glenfinnan, Loch Shiel, Fort William and lots of lovely photo stops along the way. A special mention has to go to Ross, our driver and guide. He was excellent from start to finish friendly, funny, knowledgeable and very professional. He shared the history, stories and local information in a really engaging way, without making it feel like a lecture. You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and cares about giving everyone a good experience. The driving felt safe and comfortable, the timings were well managed, and there were enough stops for photos, food, toilets and stretching our legs. I was travelling with my mother, and the tour worked really well for us because we could see so much of Scotland without having to walk too much. Glenfinnan and Glencoe were the highlights for us, but the whole journey had something special. It felt like a proper Scottish Highlands experience in one day. Thank you to The Hairy Coo and especially Ross for making the day so memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Edinburgh who wants to see the Highlands without renting a car.

Lovely tour! Our tour guide was Sarah and we were on a smaller bus on the route that takes you to the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Not only was the bus exceptionally smooth riding, surprisingly comfortable and sleep inducing, but every view was breathtaking! We stopped by various Lochs, The Three Sisters, Glasgow, Glencoe, Ben Nevis, the Glenfinnan Viaduct, Pitlochry, a soldiers memorial, and to see Hairy Coos of course. Our tour guide, Sarah, was very kind and amicable. She told us some stories as well as general information about our stops, places we drove past, and the roads, and made sure we got to see everything possible. She was also generally conversational and good at answering questions. Each stop had something unique and beautiful to offer and the drive was overall exceptionally pleasant! 10/10, a good day trip and I’d absolutely recommend for anyone visiting Scotland and interested in seeing the Highlands!

This day trip from Edinburgh was the highlight of our time in Scotland. The landscapes at Glencoe and the Commando Memorial are incredible, and watching the steam train cross Glenfinnan Viaduct was magical. Our guide Jason H made the whole day seamless and memorable. He was welcoming, entertaining, and packed with fantastic insights about Scottish legend and history. You get plenty of time for photos and fresh air at every stop.

Wonderful trip to the Highlands! It was very easy to book, and our guide, Mari, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. She drove safely and shared lots of interesting information about the places we visited. There were also plenty of stops along the way for food, drinks, and restroom breaks, which made the long journey very comfortable. The Hogwarts Express (Jacobite Steam Train) was definitely worth the wait, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. I especially loved seeing the Highland cows—they were adorable! Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Scotland.
