Briar Cottages

Been coming to little briar pet friendly cottage for 4 years and we love it. We had our honeymoon here after covid and our baby had her first holiday here. Our dogs love the secure enclosure, the acre of land to chase a ball and a good swim in the Loch.

A gorgeous little cottage in an absolutely stunning location. We really loved our stay, waking up to the the view over the loch was very special. Our hosts, Kim and Fraser made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend staying at Briar Cottages.

We've had a brilliant week at Briar Steading. The amazing views from the large glass doors changing daily was a relaxing pleasure to see. The cottage is large and clean with everything you could need for a great holiday. Kim and Fraser are great host so friendly and helpful. We had a great night with them sat out on the loch garden. The views from the top of the paddock are fantastic well worth the climb.

We were looking for a relaxing holiday, but also looking for Loch access, so our puppy could have first experience of swimming. The owners were so pleasant and welcoming, polite and charming, any issue would have been solved with ease, had we come across any. We stayed for a week, and could not fault the stay. We arrived, and even found a bottle of white wine in the fridge, that saw us relax further on the porch. Our puppy loved the private gangway into the Loch too, as well as the huge back (hillside) garden that provides stunning views, and the porcb that she could have an afternoon snooze. Have had no hesitation in booking to visit next year, and already can't wait.

Had a wonderful stay at Briar Steading in June 2019. The views are great and cottage is perfectly located for walking, cycling and enjoying some of the local pubs & restaurants. The cottage had everything we needed and was very neat and clean. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottages. Kim & Fraser are wonderful hosts.
