Amazingly tasty plant based cafe with wonderful salads and incredible options. Great refill store. Fantastic value. Delicious food and drink selection. Friendly staff. 5*. Would definitely recommend! We will be back again soon and often!

Their meal deal offer is such good value for money. The portion sizes are great and the qualify of the wrap and salad is 10/10 (see my pink plate). I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great plant based, vegan food 🌸

POOR
An absolutely terrible experience, the shop keep not only aggressively stormed towards me demanding me to leave the out door sitting area and i asked why my partner is in the shop. She then questioned me and said no i saw you come alone. I said i will wait here till she comes out which she did. I then got up to which even her customers outside said thats uncalled for. As is walked away she appeared by the window showing me her middle finger. I laughed and walked off.
Honestly if this how she behaves i would really consider spending your time and money at this place. Maybe a restructure of the staff or management would be good idea or teaching them or her ( the blonde woman )
Some manners, as she’s really letting down her multi award winning cafe.

Not a vegan but had the vegan truffle ham and cheese toastie. Was super impressed. Full of flavour, textures and perfect size. I had to take half home. Nice staff and rate this place for everyone.

I've been going to Hunglish for years and have no intention of stopping. The staff are always delightful, welcoming, inclusive and incredibly knowledgeable about what they sell. Their expansion into the new North Laine location has only taken them from strength to strength. I regularly use the plastic-free refill stations and love picking up the fresh baked goods from the front counter. Definitely recommend visiting what I consider a staple of Brighton culture.
