The Good The Bad and The Irish Comedy Show

Freaking hilarious! You’ve gotta come listen to show!! Great laughs and good drinks! We came into a show one night just by chance and we had a fantastic time! So much fun and great talent!

Random decision to book The Good, the Bad, and the Irish. Absolutely hilarious compere Michael Porter. The Northern Ireland craic was spot on. Really got the crowd engaged and venue was perfect. A nice small intimate cellar bar. All three comedians were superb. Great story telling and funny one-liners. Highly recommend and they all deserve 5 star review.

The Comedy Cellar was fantastic! There were two acts plus a compère, with a handy 10-minute break in the middle to nip to the bar. The venue is really intimate — only about 7 rows of chairs, so it probably holds around 60–70 people — which makes the whole experience feel much more personal. We absolutely loved it. There was lots of audience interaction, but nothing too harsh or uncomfortable, so no need to feel nervous about sitting near the front. All three comedians were genuinely funny and kept the energy up throughout. It’s apparently been running every night for the past two years, and you can see why. It doesn’t feel overly commercialised, just a really nice, authentic spot for comedy. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it.

Went here for a comedy night and it absolutely delivered. The show ran about an hour and a half and I genuinely haven’t laughed that much in ages. There was a great mix of acts, so it never got stale, and the headliner was effortlessly funny. The host really stood out too – great energy and knew exactly how to work the crowd. Definitely recommend if you’re in Edinburgh and up for a good laugh. Didn't get asked to leave a review (like the other reviews), so genuine 5*

Great energy, awesome host and very fun time. Highly recommend especially for the price! Visited on June 16, 2026. Also great array of different comedy styles.
