At the heart of the town
The Civic Centre is home to Uckfield Town Council, Luxfords Restaurant, and seven function rooms of various sizes available to hire including the Weald Hall, where various events are held each year.
The Civic Centre also hires out the Town Council’s other venues; Foresters Hall, Luxford Field and sports pitches at West Park and Victoria Pleasure Ground.
Conveniently situated in the heart of the town, the Civic Centre sits just off Uckfield High Street with a free adjacent public car park at Luxford Field, which has 120 three-hour and 169 10-hour parking bays.
There is disabled access to both the ground and first floors at the Civic Centre, with a lift providing access. There is also free Wi-Fi available throughout the building.

Brilliant community hub. Large car park within stones throw of building, free parking for 3 hours. Great cafe with excellent food options and wonderful service. Great pricing on items available. Photo attached is the Full English with no egg, because I am weird and don't like eggs. At least I got it extra Hash Browns!

We have just had our wedding reception at the civic centre and wow did they do us proud! The event manager Louise and her team were incredible throughout, planning this for the last year. Everyone there to the office staff to the kitchen have been utterly amazing. People that truly care about their work and the community. We are proud to live in Uckfield and have a restaurant and centre that can accommodate a wedding rather than some posh mansion house. Our DIY wedding was magical. Our guests have commented on how brilliant the food was and the service we received. We cannot recommend the Civic Centre highly enough. Love Neil & Ellie Wheeler

Had a wonderful full English breakfast with friends here on Sunday (20/10/24).
Then, we visited a model railway show in the halls. Fantastic day out.

Attended a meeting here amazing facilities and staff. If you get a chance the full english breakfast was very tasty - this is a must visit cafe!!
