For 14 years, I’ve been a police officer, most of those years I spent as a Detective. It is a very different role, but all my values come with me. Throughout my working life I’ve realised how important it is to trust people, to know who you are dealing with, and how important it is to develop worthwhile working relationships. Being an electrician, all of these apply. If you are not delighted with my work, then I haven’t done my job. But as well as dealing with your electrical needs, it is so very important that when you are inviting someone into your home, it is someone you can trust. Not only am I fully accredited to undertake your electrical needs, but I provide that element of trust, demonstrated throughout my career.
Being a working mum I know how busy life can be and how unreliable trades people can be. I provide that reliability that I look for when I need an electrician or a plumber. I need to know they will return my calls, turn up on time and in fact just turning up at all in some cases. I provide an element of comfort and safety for those that are concerned having a male in the house and I present myself professionally at all times. Oh, and in case you wanted to know why I took the career change, I decided I needed to do something different after I lost my Father. He was an incredible man, I don’t think there was anything he couldn’t do in the “DIY” area, but his specialisms were wood and antiques. He always warned me never to touch the electrics though, to get an electrician who knew what they were doing…. Sorry dad but I know I broke that rule with my first flat, at least I am qualified now!! So whilst I have chosen this path, I shared his love of creating things, solving problems, maths, attention to detail and the technical ability to produce that end product. I’m pretty confident that all this applies to being an electrician ……… so here I am!
