Tri-State Area Movers

Would leave 0 stars if I could. We were quoted that the movers would arrive between 8:30am-10:30am; they arrived at 12:30pm. The original quote was $697.50 and they charged us $1960.00 instead stating that we used more cubic feet than they had estimated. They left damage on the walls of the apartment we moved out of and considerable damage to my piano. When I emailed the person who helped me book the appointment I got no response, I even sent her photos of the damage. After sending her a follow up email with no response I called the corporate offices and spoke with someone listing the issues. They said they'd look into it....that was a week ago with no word since.

Actually 0 stars. BEWARE. This is the WORST Company ever. They lie strate to your face. They charged triple what was quoted on paper after loading the truck they said WE used too much space in the truck. THEY did the estimate and being so called professionals should have realized how much room it would take on the truck. Once it was loaded they charged triple and threatened not to give our stuff back or come to their warehouse and pick it all up. This all while closing on 2 homes at the same time. They basically held us hostage. If you use them I feel for you...but this is an upfront WARNING ⚠️

Do not use this company. This is a scam. First they came and gave me an estimate and said if I pay now this will be a discount. On the day of the move the movers were complaining of the stuff they had to move like if they were doing the job for free. I winded leaving so much things just bc of the complaining. Then once we got to my apartment they gave me a whole new price on top of the amount I already paid like 1200 more. They damaged my dresser, broke my 55 inch tv and claim someone stole another tv off the truck which I truly believe the workers stole. Then had the nerves to only offer me $150 for everything. This all happened in May. Till this day of August I have yet to receive the payment. They just keep telling me they will call me back. Save yourself the headache and don’t use this company

Would leave zero stars if I could. DO NOT use this company. The WOREST you can find. Played with the price, lost items, delivered items late. Over charged. Any good reviews have to be done by family and friends of employees. Linda lies and lies, Dipi is a waste of time. Don’t walk Run from them. See you in court….

Scam! The worst experience! The movers broke several pieces of furniture and were trying to glue the broken legs with crazy glue! One piece was put to the curb it was so damaged! I had $300 stolen from my bag, and I was missing an entire coffee table. When I called the company, they accused me of lying. Also I was given a quote, and in the middle of the move before my entire house was unloaded, they said I owed $700 more after the bank was closed so I had to go borrow money since you can’t take that much out of an ATM. They refused to take a credit card! The freshly painted walls in my new home were severely damaged, and the move took 14 hours even though it was 5 minutes away. They didn’t have enough men on the job so I couldn’t finish moving in time. I wound up paying rent to the new homeowners so I could have an extra day to get out of my house. I am still fighting with the company to get compensated for the damages, but they keep telling me they don’t believe me even though I took pictures of the damages. They also promised me 30 free boxes which were never delivered. I called about them 3 times! I feel violated and taken advantage of, and they didn’t even apologize!
