I’ve been a regular here for two years, which honestly makes this review extra disappointing to write.
I ordered my steak medium rare. What arrived was closer to rare. It was not warn in the center, mushy in texture, and genuinely SLIMEY inside. Not just “a little under,” but clearly undercooked. Anyone who eats steak regularly knows medium rare should be warm with a tender pink center, not cold and gelatinous.
What really ruined the experience wasn’t the mistake kitchens mess up sometimes, it was how it was handled. I was asked to speak to the sous chef, who proceeded to argue with me and insist I didn’t understand steaks, while the manager stood by and said nothing. Being talked down to over a simple, reasonable request to correct an order is honestly wild, especially as a long-time customer.
Good hospitality means listening to guests, not debating them into submission.
I used to recommend this place often, but after being dismissed and made to feel uncomfortable over a clearly undercooked steak, I won’t be returning anytime soon. Really disappointing decline in service and professionalism.
