Prometheus Sailing is the aggressive yacht management company behind the Prometheus Sailing UK fleet of charter sailing yachts. Led by MD Simon Boulding together with his highly experienced group, that between them have over 90 years experience at running extremely professional:
- yacht charters
- flotilla sailing
- corporate racing events
- RYA sea school training
Having actually directed Sunsail's Port Solent based procedures for 7 years, Prometheus Sailing was set up in 2021 as the moment was right for the team to take control of ownership and administration of the fleet.
Our name Prometheus Sailing was motivated by the Greek god Prometheus. His function in Greek mythology was to bring knowledge and civilisation to mankind.
We run the largest sailing school in the UK, teaching many people to sail each year. Also we introduce and educate many people to enjoy sailing with our corporate sailing tasks. From this our company name was born.
