Friendly and experienced GCSE & A-Level tutoring in Chelmsford
I’m Matthew, a final year masters chemistry student at the University of Bristol. I specialise in running lessons that are tailored to my student’s difficulties, and exam board. In my first lessons I will conduct a personalised assesment to identify your strengths, areas for improvement and learning style. We can then work together to create a custom learning plan to target the topics you find most challenging.
I have 2 years of tutoring experience, during which I’ve enjoyed working with a range of students who were looking to improve their grades, and have covered all major exam boards (Edexcel, AQA, OCR, WJEC). On top of my tutoring work, I have also done some volunteer teaching at the University of Bristol “language café”, leading small group sessions teaching german and english. All of this experience has helped me learn to communicate complex concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
I specialise in science (both triple science and combined) and maths at A level and GCSE level, but also am able to tutor german from my experience spending a year abroad last year at the University of Heidelberg in Germany.
I’m dedicated to making science and maths accessible and engaging, and I’m excited to help you reach your goals.
