Our Aim :

To develop the skills of local people who are passionate about performance and to demonstrate a first rate standard of which we can be proud.

First Rate Music Theatre  Company will offer:

• Excellent leadership and tuition  from a local Classical and Music Theatre Singing teacher with over 30 years ABRSM experience as well as LAMDA and LCM registered.


• 100% pass rate in ABRSM, LAMDA and LCM examinations Fun and rewarding workshops on a weekly basis Learning and performing songs from the musicals, from Music Hall to Contemporary Theatre


• The chance to perform to an audience in all genres of Music Theatre including Pantomime Opportunities to assist in the production, direction, costume, make up and set design/ making if you wish


• The opportunity for you to 'let off steam' and become involved in the 'feel good factor' which music and performance brings


• The chance to work with lovely people and form new friendships whilst developing your skills Links to other Performing Arts Companies, locally and Nationwide

• Our venue has just won 'Community Building of the Year Award' for Leicestershire and Rutland for 2017

The workshops are open to:

• Anyone within the above age range who is willing to sing and act to a reasonable standard.


• You do not have to sing or act like a professional to join us, as long as you are happy to give it a go and show your potential 


• If you can also dance a little (or a lot), so much the better, though this is not an essential requirement


• All who are serious about wanting to enjoy and perform in Music Theatre.
