Nick Anderson - Durham based music educator.
Nick develop an interest in music once he stumbled on a guitar and a rock band book at a relatives
at the age of 9. By age eleven he had acquired his 1st guitar that he would use to emulate his
favourite tunes. At age sixteen he was in his 1st band Abstract Pictures taking part as a rhythm
guitarist and holding the lead vocals.
While continuing to compose music from home, Nick went on to STUDY music technology at
Newcastle city music school where he completed a National Diploma (Distinction grade) then
adding a primary degree in Music Production.
Nick then studied for a certificate on The Music Business and achieved a Distinction then he
completed his PTLLS certificate (relevant to music education) and completed with a Distinction. He
has also completed a Rock School Certificate in Music Education provision at Access to Music in
Birmingham specialising in understanding learning designs, inclusion and differentiation,
observation and making schemes of work and lesson planning.
Nick currently works as a personal/group freelance Music educator within the north east of
England providing tuition in Music Technology and Music Production and song writing workshops.
Nick is willing to travel your home to supply music tuition at a really competitive rate. Song writing
workshops and group guitar sessions at local centres,contact Nick for details. Nick continues to
write and record and performs his own material at regional venues. Nick is additionally releasing
