Beginners Guitar teaching from 7 1/2 yrs.
Adults are very welcome too.
Lessons just for fun, or for exams.
100% pass rate by all my children and teenager pupils grades 1 - 7 since 1984
when I started teaching Piano/Keyboard to the present day.
I have had 4 songs published in the past, and I compose piano solos and I am soon
going to self-publish a book of 7 songs and piano solos called 'Nature Scenes'.
I can also encourage my pupils (young and older) to also compose and record onto
CDs and create an accurate written score with the correct musical notation.
This help is also available to help with GCSE/A level Music for school homework.
I have also composed 1 solo Guitar piece called 'Psalm' which is apx grade 3
standard.
I teach Classical/Jazz/Soft Rock/Rockschool/Popular/Playing with books/Playing
without books/keyboard style: chords in LH, melody in RH etc./Sight reading/
Aural tests/Music theory grades 1-6 ABRSM/Trinity College.
I also have taught some pupils with special needs: I am at present teaching an
extremely visually impaired man (63) and he has done 2 exams with ABRSM & Trinity
College very successfully, and is working on his next exam as we speak!
I also have taught mildly Autistic children, one of which passed an exam with MTB
with me being the examiner in my house. (he got a Silver Award).
