MD Tyres and Auto Services

I have used this shop a few times now been for wheel alignment and tyres, I last time I used them was about 6 months ago on a car that bearly gets used thorough blackcircles.com and md tyres was the fitters seem like it was good, this car was only used to go around town until last week going 60 -70 mph very small vibration coming from steering wheel so I when back to the shop to check it out which they didn't care they didn't sold the tyres just fit them, 6 months is a long time. Cool so I called blackcircles they said they should but if not go somewhere else and we will refund it for you, so I went to kwik fit reading for the balancing which they didn't want to charge me for as they seen it was done wrong, not enough weight and wrong location of weight. Good on blackcircles, kwik fit but bad on md tyres reading. Md tyres reading even said we don't guarantee on our tyres and workmanship, only big shops have that.

Used them for an MOT and service last year, they couldn't do the MOT because my boot wouldn't open. That is fine, they said they credited me the MOT and just charged for the service, but since then I've been getting invoice reminders for the MOT despite my numerous emails to them... If they would stop these I'll happily change my review

I took my car to them for wheel alignment but within two weeks i had to take it back as they didn’t do the job properly and the car was pulling towards left on highway speeds. The second time they did the alignment but it was even worse. They didn’t adjust the EPS using proper tools despite I asked them to do that. I had to take my car to an ‘honest’ and ‘professional’ mechanic in Wokingham who properly diagnosed the issue and resolved it but costing me additional £80. MD tyre and Auto guys don’t care doing the job properly. Pathetic shop, never going back again and won’t recommend to anyone else. My initial spend on wheel alignment wasted.

I have been using MD tyre in Redding for 2 years now. On May 19, I hit a pot hole going in to Newbury. I call MD Tyre, there technician was with me in 40 minutes changed my tire and I was on my way. Great service.
