Hello everyone!
We’re LingoClass, an Asian language school with over eight years of experience in London, and we’re excited to bring our passion for language learning to Manchester!
We specialise in Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and our mission is to make every lesson feel like a journey into culture as well as language. With native, experienced teachers, our face-to-face classes are highly interactive, communicative, and immersive — helping you speak confidently from day one.

I’ve been learning Japanese with Hitomi-sensei at Lingoclass for nearly half a year now, starting from the very beginner level and progressing to N5-2. We’re now preparing to enter N5-3, the final chapter of the N5 level—and I can confidently say that Hitomi-sensei has helped me build a strong and solid foundation in the language.
Her teaching style is both structured and engaging. She doesn’t just teach grammar and vocabulary—she shares her own experiences, making the lessons more relatable and human. At the same time, she creates a space where we can share our own stories, which makes the class lively, fun, and always something I look forward to.

I am really enjoying my Japanese lessons at LingoClass. I have just completed the Beginner Level 1 & 2 courses and have signed up for Level 3. I have been very pleased with the curriculum, teaching and the fun I’ve had.
I know life can get very busy so I know I would not be able to self-learn Japanese on my own. These lessons ensure that I am learning something every week. It’s structured, fun and relaxed at the same time.
Kaori and Akari sensei have been great teachers and in-person classes are a lot of fun. Totally recommend!

I have just completed Korean Beginner Level 1 with LingoClass and really enjoyed the experience! Sujin was a great teacher - she is very encouraging and positive, and makes the classes very fun. It’s definitely been a highlight of my week! I feel like I’ve made excellent progress so far, and have already signed up to the next level. Looking forward to continuing my Korean journey with Sujin and LingoClass!

I just finished the 0 to N5 Master Course at LingoClass yesterday, and I’m really glad I signed up.
I’d tried learning Japanese on my own with textbooks before, but I never managed to stick with it. This course completely changed that. The 12-week intensive structure kept me on track, and the classes were genuinely a lot of fun, which made a huge difference.
Kaori sensei and Ayako sensei were honestly brilliant teachers. They’re both incredibly patient and supportive, but also really skilled at explaining things in a way that actually sticks. They created such a relaxed, positive atmosphere in every class, which made it easy to ask questions and stay engaged. You can tell they really care about their students’ progress, and that made a big difference to my confidence.
I’ve come away with a much stronger foundation than I expected, and for the first time it actually feels like something I can keep building on.
I’m already looking forward to continuing with the N5-1 Intensive course in a couple of weeks. Thank you so much to Kaori sensei and Ayako sensei for such a great experience!

It's a lovely, very relaxed environment to learn Japanese. The classrooms are very comfortable. I tried to learn Japanese before but I have to say that this time it worked so much better in a class with other people. The teachers are so friendly and helpful. We had Hitomi and Ayako who are excellent, my personal favourite is Kaori who is such a friendly young women and also an excellent teacher. Thank you to all three of you, I will be back.
