Hikitia Surface Design

I had James come to my house to do a feature wall that was built we wanted venetian plaster. . Prior to the work James spent time going through ideas and listening to effect we was after he produced lots of examples and we found the one together. He was on time when dates were arranged and even went above and beyond as we had a tight time secudule it was late notice and he said he would make it all work of which he did. He was clean tidy and very good with my children, I have 7 and one has a slight artistic nature and ask lots of questions and wanted to try. He even spend time showing him explaining the process and let him have a go. What an amazing character this man is. Then it came to putting fire place in and the hole was built to tight and after carpenters ruined his work he came back on a weekend and and evening to make good and get it back to its perfect finish all before Xmas. I can't speak more highly of him and the workmanship. Thank you so much.

James came to plaster the ceilings and walls of two bedrooms. The walls required a lot of prep work due to the state they were in but James' passion and attention to detail has transformed my bedroom walls into perfection. James explained his approach and gave regular updates each day whilst always being very respectful of my home and working in a tidy manner. It was so uplifting and a pleasure to have someone that is so passionate about their work. I would highly recommend James to anyone that appreciates excellent workmanship, thank you James.

Our company were awarded the interior design package for a well known restaurant in Kensington. We knew that we needed to inject some feeling into the wall space. That’s where we came across Hikitia. James uses Venetian plasters to create a story, working within brand guidelines. What he has created, is just phenomenal and we will never hesitate to contact again for future projects.

James performed bonding and skimming of our walls and ceiling at very short notice and we couldn't ask for a better quality of work. Communication was excellent from the initial contact and he gave an explanation of what he would do. During the work, James patiently explained everything including ways to improve the quality of our walls and ran through everything with us regularly. We wouldn't hesitate to work with James again.

We were looking for someone to plaster over the artex ceilings in our 2-bed semi and came across Hikitia, from the first phone call I knew we had found the right team. They came out the same weekend to give us a quote and managed to fit us into their busy schedule the week later.
