Location is great, and that's about all there's positive about it. The hotel is gloomy, outdated, and doesn’t feel clean. The room is extremely small, the air conditioning barely works, and there are no instructions on how to use it. It was very hot inside, and the window wouldn’t open at all. The bathroom looks incredibly old—like something out of an elderly relative’s house. There’s nowhere to even place a toothbrush on the sink. The toiletries and towels are very cheap; I honestly hadn’t seen toiletries of this quality in years. The carpet, both in the room and throughout the hotel, is worn down and looks like it hasn’t been properly cleaned in ages. The same goes for the curtains, which seem like they haven’t been washed in years. The lights were so unreliable—some working, others not—that we half expected it to be the ghosts of past guests playing tricks. The reception staff seemed disengaged: no smile, no greeting, barely any acknowledgment of our presence (the cleaning lady, however, was kind). When I asked whether breakfast was included, the man at reception simply said, “No breakfast. There are coffee shops on the street.” After seeing the room, I was honestly relieved not to have breakfast there. But none of this compares to the beds. The mattresses were so uneven and worn out that you would roll into dips and almost get stuck. They genuinely felt decades old—lumpy to the point of feeling like they were filled with hay. I have never slept on mattresses in such poor condition. It almost became a joke—but paying nearly €1,000 for a double and a triple room for two nights and ending up in a hotel like this certainly wasn’t.

Our experience at this hotel was great. We choose here due to budget and location and I expected a lot less even without reviewing all the negative comments here first. Yes it’s not super modern, but our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet and the staff were friendly.

From the moment I arrived, the broken elevator made it clear what I was dealing with. The lobby was dirty and unkept, but I went up to my room anyway. That was a mistake. The room was a disaster: the carpet was ripped and rippled, the walls had multiple holes, and the pillows and blankets were so thin and worn they were almost useless. The mattress was ancient and sagged deeply in the middle. The bathroom vanity was broken and damaged. I stayed there for one night only. I refused to get under the sheets because I was certain I'd get bed bugs, so I slept in my sweats instead. The next morning, I woke up to ants crawling all over my oranges. When I complained and tried to cancel my second night, they told me there was no manager on duty. I asked other guests in the lobby if they were happy with their stay, and every single one said no at the same time. This hotel is a fraud. It should be shut down. Do not stay here.

Just checked out, we have had an amazing stay. Be ready for small rooms that's true but rooms are clean and receptionists are very kind. Location is priceless. Paddington station just by the corner. Quick connection to Heathrow, only about 40 minutes by the train. Tons of restaurants in the area, many cousins. It is a basic hotel but it didn't bother us as we knew it. Very good value.

Omg !!!! This is the worse hotel u can ever book I just recently Book this hotel it is out of date definitely need to refurbish in the rooms. The room are dumpy and smelly. The bathroom also smelled with cold showers not proper hot water. The carpet was worn out and stunk. I was in that room for about an hour. My asthma got worse, which made me feel sick. I complain to the receptionist which did not help me and said the manager is not here so they cannot change my room or refund me. I was only there for less than half an hour Which made my life hell this hotel definitely needs to be either shut down or refurbished. I’m sorry to say avoid avoid avoid this hotel. This caused me stress an alarm to me and my family is definitely not children friendly either as they say it on their site this needs to be removed
