Gracious Care did a fantastic job supporting my elderly mum in her own home for 4 years before her dementia and general health deteriorated to the point where it was unsafe for her to continue without residential care. Starting with just daily ‘welfare’ visits, over the years the amount of care and time required to provide the support increased significantly. Gracious Care helped us with our ongoing negotiations with the Council concerning funding and with the NHS regarding mum's medication and treatment. The Gracious carers were always resourceful, kind, respectful and caring. Care visits rose to 4 a day and included all the basic activities that were needed to allow my mum to maintain her dignity and to remain in her own home for as long as humanly possible – which was her fervent wish. Without the help of Gracious Care, this certainly would not have been possible. Both my mum and I were very grateful to Chris and her team for the excellent care and support we received. I have personal experience of the service provided by three other care agencies and can say without a shadow of doubt that Gracious Care were by far the best.

Following a stroke my Uncle needed some help with meals and medication. I shall always be grateful to Gracious Care as my uncle had always been independent and it was hard for him to depend on people. They spent time getting to know him and very quickly became his friends. On the rare occasions I telephoned the office they would always know who I was talking about and were always friendly and concerned for him. I felt the people they cared for became part of their family and when my uncle sadly died they came to his funeral. Thank you to everyone at Gracious Care it means so much.

We were so lucky to find Gracious Care as this company certainly lives up to its name. The amazing Carers looked after my Dad as though he was part of their own family. They had a laugh and a joke with my Dad daily, helped him to keep his dignity even when his health conditions declined, showed patience and kindness and always went above and beyond what they needed to do. He always looked forward to their visits and they always had time for a chat with my Mum. They became a huge supportive part of our family and always will be. We are very thankful to them for all they did for my Dad and all of us. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Gracious Care are amazing. They are gracious in attitude and caring in nature. They look after my 97year old mum so well. Nothing is too much trouble even if plans change unexpectedly. I have and continue to recommend them where and when I can. Thank you so much for all you do. Debbie

I recently had to use their services for my mother in law following a hip replacement when she needed overnight care on hospital discharge. It's actually not that easy a service to find and obviously you worry about who will be looking after your family. I couldn't recommend this organisation enough. Everyone i spoke to there was so helpful but also kind and compassionate. They took time to come visit the house, explain what needs we had and how they could meet them and then when it became clear we needed a little more additional support organised it with very little notice. All the carers were fantastic and so very kind. If you need any kind of care and support and home in the local area give them a call.
