Beachlands Care Home

My Mum at 97 has settled in so quickly, there is such a good vibe in the home. All staff have been very welcoming and already have a rapport with Mum. Much care has been taken in getting to know Mum's needs and wants, as a family we are confident that Mum will be very happy and well cared for at Beachlands. And then there is the fabulous new 50 feet long extension, soon to be completed, to provide a new dining and social seating area with panoramic sea views!

In March 2020 just before lockdown Paula and her team at Beachlands took my frail 92 year old mum for emergency respite care. My mother immediately felt at home and the whole friendly and supportive atmosphere was wonderful. She ended up staying until she passed away and the support and care for her was fantastic right to the end. I have no hesitation in recommending Beachlands. Peter Coll. Seaford.

My Father has been in this lovely Care home for just over a year now, and I constantly ask him if he wishes to move to his family in Ireland or even come nearer to me, his answer is always the same, "no thank you, I like it here." The staff are friendly and always busy helping the residence, Ive never heard one complaint from any of them, they walking around so calmly and at seem at peace with themselves, this is so reassuring for me as I live quite far away but visit regularly, and I can honestly say I've not seen my dad look so happy and well, clean and healthy for quite a few years, I only wish my mum could have come here too. Not only does my dad get looked after but so do I and all the other visitors, the atmosphere is so calming and peaceful, one things for sure if there was anything untoward in this home my dad would have been out like a shot, but I can't get him to budge!! This really is like a real home and its what my dad calls it, I am so very lucky my dad was brought here, and is the options of most visitors Ive had the pleasure to talk to.
