FURTHER UPDATE: The company's Facebook page has now been taken offline, which I assume is again due to the company not wanting details of their non-CQC-regulated business model of "care" being in public. Always beware a company that tries to stop open debate regarding standards because they have things to hide (like their last CQC inspection report before they changed business model to avoid needing to be regulated!)
UPDATE: This company have now apparently left and are not trying to now trying to remain on the instructions of 'a representative'! At least we know they listen to online reviews!
Totally unprofessional organisation. Have a complete lack of understanding of provisions of Mental Capacity Act and Lasting Powers of Attorney legislation. Avoid as they and their carers are a risk to the vulnerable!
I would suggest anyone considering using this company read the company's most recent CQC report, which was issued prior to the company switching to a model where the staff are independent contractors "introduced" by the company, a loophole which the company seem to have used to avoid having to continue to be registered with the CQC!
PS. The response of the owner of this company to simple criticism being expressed about their actions was to make untrue allegations to the Police! I find it interesting that the company make it clear that they are willing to force their care upon a vulnerable woman on the basis that her 'representative' insists they must continue! The term 'representive' means someonw who is upset to have had their lasting power of attorney revoked by the donor (who has capacity!). Yet this company will continue to force their (non-regulated) care upon the vulnerable person until they can actually obtain control of their bank accounts! But, by not employing the staff, there's no regulation!
Today, following an allegation of assault by staff member 'Beauty' against the vulnerable person she is supposed to be caring for, the company's response was apparently that they aren't responsible for safeguarding!
You certainly get what you pay for ... and probably struggle to get them out of your home when you want to!
But removing yourself from CQC-regulation (by changing business model) is cheaper than improving your standards when the CQC have found them wanting!
