I have had the opportunity to complete a year long anatomy course with Gary Carter, Natural Bodies and continue to work with him with countless workshops. A 6-month anatomy course with Flow Yoga, and a 6-month restorative course with Anna Ashby. Workshops with Donna Farhi, Jason Crandell, Tias Little; along with countless other in person workshops and online studies. I have also been working alongside Claire Amos’s yoga classes for 6 years.
I am ever learning and sharing knowledge with my yoga friends, especially Claire Amos, who is also a chiropractor, and Steven Wheaton, who is also a yoga teacher. We meet frequently to inspire and learn from each other.
I became connected to yoga in my early 20s having been lucky enough to have tried it at school in Saudi Arabia when I was young. Moving forward to adulthood and the traumas that came, yoga kept me going and I’m so grateful for that.
Over time my body has become easier to live in, even as I get older. Yoga has also taught me gratitude and compassion are essential for a well mind.
