They are bait and switch. You're not going to be offered a loan just debt relief which screws up your credit. I know. I get all these loan offers and all of them do the same thing. This is one of the worst.

This company is the worst, do not get a mortgage through them. They assigned an agent to do our 5 year renewal, then agent had to take a leave from work (we were not notified) and they got back to late to finish renewing our mortgage in time for the deadline and never handed our file off to another agent to ensure the renewal was done before the deadline. Because we “missed our renewal date” aka, lendwise missed our renewal date from lack of competence on their side. They’ve been now evading communication with us and charging us a 9.75% interest rate on our mortgage since July that was supposed to be 4.3% when we renewing Oh. Not to mention we signed our renewal back in June. And they completely dodge the fact that we have signed and returned all documents they gave us for the renewal. Lendwise is a joke of a company to deal with. Considering taking legal action against them at this point for predatory practices.

I wasn't sure whether I would be able to finance my master's degree in London until I found Lendwise as I didn't qualify for a great deal of student finance. I was really nervous when I called the first time because I didn't fully understand what, on the face of it sounded like an unusual arrangement, the idea of other people investing in funding young people to study. The team on the phone was so friendly and easy to talk to that I applied straightaway after the call and received my loan exactly as explained. Though I heartily look forward to paying it off, I have been really impressed by this company, each month they sent me a clear statement of my repayments and the date I will complete them. Would highly recommend!

I cannot and will not ever recommend this service. It is not my first rodeo with credit. 1 Star just for the ability to pay back what is effectively a post grad student loan after the course has finished. The SLC did not give enough for my MSc. There was a gap in the market since Barclays stopped giving the career development loans and I thought, great a solution to my problem. After covid my situation changed, my company slowed down and after maternity leave I had no job. Now, imagine being in between jobs, reaching out to creditors to explain that your situation has changed temporarily. It was all ok, except with Lendwise. Lendwise put me through a month's worth of deliberately obtuse customer service to no end. Normal credit/loan agency puts you on a payment plan and moves it along. No problem. Not Lendwise. The level of belittling is unreal, they are effectively loan sharks to me at this stage. Non of this feels professional and I wonder if their investors know that this is how they treat their customers. Again, that one star was for the initial convenience. Judging by the other comments I know there are many who are in a similar situation in this climate and for the sake of privacy won't speak but I have to. No Words can explain this sufficiently. Perhaps they forget that the people taking the loans are all educated individuals.
