We moved house and Harry has been fantastic in helping us find the right pieces for us, help us work out what we want and is a genuinely a great guy who is always happy to help, we are definitely repeat customers. Him and his dad delivered the very heavy wardrobe/chest of drawers/book shelf flawlessly.

Fantastic customer service from a family firm. They have a decent selection of furniture, all refurbished and can also be painted to suit the new owner. When our chosen item didn’t fit in the house (oops) they took it back without any quibbles and helped find a new piece to fit. All with delivery as well. We couldn’t ask for more!!

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish! Nearing the end of my new bathroom installation we realised that the unit was too big, this wasn’t an issue for Harry he took our new measurements and made it fit perfectly. So pleased with the finished product and totally bespoke to my needs. Would highly recommended

Except it gets better.. you’re always met with a warm welcome and you’re free to roam, there’s never any pushy sales pitches, you never feel any pressure to buy and you can come and go as many times as you like. Visiting is always a pleasure! All that said, for me, the most pressing reason why you should support this local business is, Harry. Let’s talk about Harry…what an absolute gem of a person. Rarely, do you come across such kindhearted, genuine, helpful and friendly souls… especially when you’re out to spend money! Harry ticks all the boxes - he’s warm, bubbly, welcoming, down to earth, charismatic and so easy to get along with. His passion, enthusiasm and love for what he does shines through so brightly. Furniture by HDS is his baby, he cares so much more than words can ever truly express and this is so evident from the first ‘hello’ to the ‘thank you very much for your business’ after you’ve filled your home with stunning preloved pieces of timeless joy. On that - whenever he pops round with a delivery he’s always so careful, considerate and professional… literally need I say more!?
