Titan Fencing

We had heard great reviews of Tom and on this basis employed him to install a side gate to our property and paid him in full. Unfortunately this was a big mistake. The gate is okay if you don't mind splinters. The bolt doesn't line up so we can't lock it. The concrete post isn't level and the wooden side post is split top and bottom. Tom has promised on numerous weekly occasions since March to come and put right and everytime a no show and so many excuses as to why. We have been extremely patient and have given him so many chances. Asked him for a refund so we can get someone else in but that isn't forthcoming either. I do have all messages and photos of the empty promises and bad workmanship and it's very sad as we have only ever heard good things. Maybe if you only pay after the job is done you'll be okay. Unfortunately we trusted him. If he rectifies this I'll post to confirm

Tom Dawber takes money for deposits for materials for jobs he doesn't show up for. He basically does a runner with your money, that's my experience. Check out the group Shevy News on Facebook via a search for Titan Fencing. You will find a post there where so many people have responded and have highlighted VERY serious issues with this firm - specifically Tom Dawber. Money has been taken from many customers for materials with no work done, and in some cases work has been done to a very poor standard. He makes excuses, false promises, and then ignores communications completely. Do yourself a favour and AVOID THIS FIRM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AVOID! I paid a deposit to Tom from Titan Fencing for fence repairs after our property suffered severe fire damage, but he never showed up for the job. Despite calling all day and visiting his business premises where his van was parked, Tom never responded or answered the door. I cancelled the contract and asked for a refund, which Tom promised but has yet to return. He offers excuses and avoids me. This matter has proceeded to court regarding the outstanding debt. Tom has until the 31st to return £480 before this ends up in front of a Judge. I strongly advise against using Titan Fencing. He approached neighbours affected by fire, took deposits from two of us, but never started the work. Please be advised: Action Fraud and Trading Standards have also become involved.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. Took £100 deposit . Won't give a date for the work to be carried out. Won't return my calls or messages . Told me it would definitely be this week . Again no communication. Managed to receive a message last night to confirm it would be today ...not turned up surprisingly. Won't answer my calls or messages. Very unprofessional and criminal I will be taking it further. FB reviews look great ...dont be fooled. STILL NOT RETURNED MY MONEY !!

Tom and his Dad did a very difficult job (drilling reinforced concrete to install posts for my fence). They were punctual, replied to all my messages promptly and thoroughly, and were perfect gentlemen dealing with my whinging Mum:) The fence looks amazing and we are very happy.
