I have been letting a property through CPL for over a decade, and am very happy indeed to recommend them to friends (or strangers) who may be looking for an agent to handle the arrangements for letting a property. What is the main reason I stick with them and recommend them to others? Integrity. They tell the truth. For some other agents that I have had brief dealings with, it has been clear that I have been casually lied to, even on basic simple things, but with CPL I can trust what they tell me. I know that this also applies to their communication with tenants. Also, they are very good indeed at navigating through all the changing regulations and paperwork, so I have no doubt at all that my property meets all the relevant requirements.

I rented a house managed by Cambridge Property Lettings. While I was inside my home, a contractor used a key to unlock my front door and entered the property unannounced to complete work on the patio. I received absolutely no prior notification or communication from your agency regarding this visit. Being inside my home and having a stranger suddenly unlock the door and walk in without my consent is entirely unacceptable, deeply unsettling, and a compromise of my safety and privacy.

We rented a property with Cambridge Property Lettings, in fact we lived at the Rose & Crown the same building as their offices. It has come to the end of our year long Tenancy with many issues during the tenancy such as a faulty boiler, 2 faulty fridges, faulty oven & a faulty washing machine which were replaced but was extremely inconvenient during the tenancy and we were given no compensation for this happening during the year we lived there. We moved out the property on the 1st August 2019, leaving the house in better condition than when we received it as seen in our photos below while also following everything on their recommended list of checkout. We did however touch-up a couple of walls in the property with the same paint, however they're attempting to charge us £1500 for redecoration of the entire property. It's super convenient that the check-in list is super vague and the check-out report extremely detailed clearly taking advantage of us being students. Of our deposit that was initially handed over that was £5,040.00, a year later Cambridge Property Lettings are attempting to take £2610.60 from our deposit which is to be honest beyond a joke, we're students so we'll be disputing this with TDS avoid Cambridge Property Lettings, they're a joke.
