The clue is in the name. This place really is fantastic. To start with the staff though. Genuinely helpful, friendly and welcoming. They are clearly passionate about their products and know their stuff inside and out, but somehow talk to you on a level so you feel part of it. I come here perhaps once or maybe twice a year from the mainland, but last time I visited they actually remembered me. First class customer service. And as for the range they have on offer, I've rarely seen better anywhere else. Lucky enough this time around to get a couple of the Target Dr Who novels I was looking for, and have never come away empty handed. This shop is one of the major attractions of a visit to Ryde for me. Long may it continue and they will certainly be seeing me again.

Our favourite shop on the Island! We absolutely love the Fantastic Store and visit every time we come to the Isle of Wight. The staff are the loveliest people ever; nothing is too much trouble for them. The range of comic, film and TV memorabilia is fabulous and not expensive. Please keep supporting this gem of a local business!

This truly is a fantastic store! The range of goods is second to none, and the staff are simply amazing, I cannot thank them enough for the patience and helpfulness shown to my daughter whilst she was choosing what to buy. Thank you guys ❤️
