We'd done training before. Treats, sit, stay - the usual stuff. Our dog is three and a half and had suddenly developed a severe aversion to cars, barking every time we saw one on walks or drives. Not fun for him or us. We were extremely worried and knew we needed help. Enter Malcolm, who came out to our house for a two hour session and sorted it instantly.
Turns out there was nothing wrong with our dog. The problem was us - we just hadn't been giving him the structure and leadership he was looking for. Malcolm explained this in a way that was straight without being harsh, which - being honest - wasn't comfortable listening, but was exactly what we needed.
Our dog is now transformed. Same dog, same street, completely different. By the end of the session he was noticeably calmer and more focused. One week on and the car-barking's gone, the pulling's mostly gone, and he seems so much happier. We are relieved and delighted.
Malcolm clearly loves what he does and it shows. He told us what we needed to hear rather than what we wanted to hear - and backed it all up in a way that actually made sense. We can't thank Malcolm enough and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
