My name is Emma, I am the owner of Little White dog grooming, and I love all dogs, big and small!
I have allways had pets from Guinea pigs to cats and dogs. My current dog is called Luna and she is a fluffy hairy white Tibetan Terrier who is my inspiration for this business. She is very young still but enjoys being groomed! We enjoy walking in the local parks around Crowborough and the surrounding Ashdown Forest.
My background is in fashion and textiles. After graduating from university, I worked for over 10 years in the fashion industry as a Buyer. I then moved to Crowborough to start a family and decided not to go back to the corporate world and, instead, use my creative skills and combine them with my love of animals.
I enrolled in a dog grooming course at Just 4 paws grooming school run by the award winning Amy Manser, under the guildance of Jacquie Price. I completed my City and Guilds Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in Professional Dog Grooming. I am now working from home as a professional dog groomer in Crowborough and I love my job!
I offer a bespoke service by appointment only, working with 1 dog at a time (with the exception of when dogs are from the same family). I am proud of my non-commercial, quiet salon as I believe it can calm dogs and therefore keep them happy by building their trust and making grooming a pleasant experience.
Dogs have beautiful souls and it is my intention to ensure they feel amazing and they leave the salon happy! I put humanity before vanity when grooming and can offer advice in caring for your dog and the tools to use.I take a holistic approach when grooming. I only use high-quality natural shampoos and conditioners tailored to your dog's coat and skin type. I use aromatherapy oils in a diffuser to help calm anxious dogs. I do not rush dogs, meaning the experience is a positive one.
