My name is Chloe and i am a fully qualified, registered and insured Galen myotherapist covering East Sussex and parts of Kent. Myotherapy (muscle therapy) helps dogs with mobility issues using specialised massage techniques and exercise management to relieve chronic muscular pain. I offer a home-visit service where your dog can be treated in the comfort of your home.

It can be highly effective to help dogs with the following conditions and situations:

SIGNS OF CHRONIC MUSCULAR PAIN:
Muscular issues can be well hidden by dogs, some common signs are:
-General stiffness getting up or after a walk
-snappy or aggressive behaviour
-lameness (limping)
-when your dog defecates, are they still or do they walk around in circles/walk forwards
-chewing or licking their paws/legs excessively
-reluctant to exercise or play
-seeming withdrawn

All dog owners need their vet to sign a consent form before treatment can commence. This is usually easy to achieve, your vet may want a health check up just to make sure your dog would be suitable for treatment. Please message or call to obtain the form for your vet.


Price per treatment is £40.00*:

Your dog’s initial comprehensive consultation and first treatment will take 60-90 minutes.
Subsequent treatments will take approximately 40 to 60 minutes each.

In the majority of cases, 3-4 treatments are usually sufficient to see an improvement in your dog’s condition and to ascertain if the therapy is proving to be effective. A full discussion will be had before committing to another appointment if future maintenance sessions are appropriate.
