Previous employment was as an IHCD Advanced Clinician Practitioner HCP for South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS trust covering Sussex, Kent and Surry, attending medical emergencies or accidents, in what is effectively a mobile emergency clinic or on my own in rapid response vehicles to resuscitate/stabilise patients using sophisticated techniques, equipment and drugs for advanced life support.
I was also one of the first Community Responders to cover Eastbourne and the surrounding area, dispatched by the ambulance control centre to attend medical emergencies when not on duty, or simply be a very vital second pair of hands to a crew should they need it, being on call, volunteering 90 hours a week 24 hours a day on top of my 40 hour shift pattern.
I was also on call 24 hours a day for Sussex Police to search for vulnerable missing people in Sussex and other counties.
Even now our mobile grooming van carries a life saving defibrillator along with other medical equipment for incidents which we come across on our travels when the emergency services are not in attendance.
With this diverse level of skill and qualifications, you can be confident that your beloved pet is in the best possible hands.
