I have been a patient at this practice since 2017, and this is the first time I have experienced such poor and unprofessional customer service.
I requested a simple proof-of-address letter for my son on 28 August 2025, but after several follow-ups by phone and email, I still did not receive it. When I called again on 10 September 2025, the receptionist was rude, dismissive, and even made inappropriate remarks about me speaking quietly because my baby was sleeping.
When I attended the practice in person to resolve the issue, the same receptionist argued with me in front of other patients, denied what she had said, and the practice manager accused me of being “aggressive” while allowing her to continue speaking disrespectfully. Being labelled this way for standing up for myself, especially as a Black woman, was unacceptable. He also told me I can no longer be registered here.
Another patient present even spoke up and confirmed the receptionist was rude and that the matter should have been handled privately, not in front of a waiting room of patients.
After all of this stress, another staff member resent the email, which I finally received within minutes proof that this could have been dealt with weeks earlier without the unnecessary treatment I received.
It is disappointing after being a loyal patient for 8 years to experience this kind of treatment. I hope the practice takes steps to address staff professionalism and ensure no other patient is spoken to in this way again.
