Kartik is always professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about his patients. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, makes you feel at ease, and consistently provides excellent treatment. I have complete trust in his advice and wouldn’t want to see anyone else. I have been a patient at this dental surgery since 1996, when it was known as Springfield Dental Surgery. Over the years, the practice was home to some of the best dentists in the area, including Dr. Najma Shokrullahi, Dr. Shahila, and Dr. David Colar, all of whom have unfortunately since left the country. Their professionalism and standard of care were exceptional, and their absence is clearly felt. Regrettably, my recent experiences have been far from satisfactory. The current dentists do not appear to demonstrate the same level of care or attention. In addition, the reception service has declined significantly. The previous receptionist was always friendly and helpful, but since her retirement, the service at the front desk has become noticeably less accommodating. A particularly concerning experience involved my son’s appointments being cancelled twice without any prior notice. On both occasions, I took him out of school and travelled to the surgery, only to be told upon arrival that there was no appointment scheduled. This was both frustrating and disappointing, especially as the situation was not acknowledged appropriately. It is evident that the practice is now under new management, and unfortunately, the quality of service has deteriorated. During my most recent visit, the dentist spent no more than two minutes with me, which felt rushed and inadequate. This was, without doubt, one of the worst dental experiences I have had. Due to these ongoing issues, I am now considering seeking care elsewhere. Sadly, I can no longer recommend this dental surgery based on the current standard of service.

I have been a patient here for many years. I had a dental phobia but Jyotika Ooka my dentist took me under her wing. She went very slowly and we have built my confidence. Initially needing sedation for a clean and polish, now I go regularly and feel comfortable enough to have minimal sedation. I cannot praise Jyotika enough alongside the dental nurses and admin staff who are very professional and helpful.

This is a calm, clean, friendly but professional team & atmosphere. From the considerate receptionist to the mindful dental nurses & dentist. This Is a safe haven as we were not rushed at any point & the anxiety that had occurred was addressed & relieved in a careful and calm manner. Located on Horn Lane so a little off the beaten track but worth the extra effort.
