I had my first root canal done yesterday. I've been struggling to find a dentist that could help and went in feeling anxious but the lady who performed my root canal was very gentle, the numbing was super quick and she was very reassuring throught out the process. It was pain free and with basic pain relief after I haven't had any pain throughout the day since being home. The receptionists are also very friendly and kind.Very happy and grateful and highly recommend. Thankyou so much.

I am very pleased to have been accepted as a NHS patient at Foxhall Dental Practice having been on their waiting list for some time. My dentist Nabeela carried out a very thorough examination during my first visit there providing constructive comments on her observations. Thank you. I feel in safe hands and look forward to my next visit.

Had such a fantastic experience with the Oral surgery team; Megan, Josie and Annabelle. Made the appointment very enjoyable considering it was an extraction. Highly recommend these guys if you enjoy karaoke and good vibes these are your girls Shout out to Megan Josie and Annabelle.

I visited the practice with my son to have 4 teeth removed (in preparation for orthodontic treatment). This was an unexpected extraction as we thought it was a consultation appointment. The dentist was extremely reassuring, was able to talk my son through the entire process, constantly reassuring him & providing positive vibes. This made the whole process much more relaxed & calm. Time was spent ensuring my son remained comfortable & the process felt extremely patient focused. The dentist had a lovely nature & was able to talk to my son about interests to provide some distraction & also focus. I have been a patient of this practice for many years & this is by far the best dentist/experience I have had.

From my recent experience, I would advise against this dental practice. So far they have been disorganised and unprofessional. If you want the full story: I joined the practice as an NHS patient in March this year. I had a positive initial consultation but when I returned for a filling I was asked if I had any pain, I told them yes, upon biting, which was the same as at my initial consultation. I was then told they may not go ahead with the filling afterall and they would need to take another X-ray (despite having an X-ray at my initial consultation). The Dentist put the X-ray jammed the X-ray tab into my mouth and cut me at the bottom. The X-ray showed nothing but the 'Dentist' was hesitant to go ahead and told me I could opt to speak to a Dentist for further advice (I had thought she was a Dentist?! She had not introduced herself by different professional title). I declined and asked for the filling anyway. She then left the room and came back saying she would rather not go ahead anyway. I was given a temporary filling. It's been a while since I last had a filling and I was expecting local aesthetic. This wasn't given, which in all honestly I'm pleased about as I don't like the numb mouth feel, but I was surprised this was never communicated to me or asked. The Dental Nurse was quite rough with the suction and the 'Dentist' didn't seem very familiar with the equipment. At the end of the appointment, she told me "I don't really look 55". I was quite insulted as I am 20 years younger than this - they'd got my date of birth wrong on the system and didn't think to question it - or think I look close enough to that age not to need to question it. The 'Dentist' told me to ask for an appointment in a week at the reception to have my permanent filling done. When I went to the reception they told me "oh it looks like she's already booked this in for you at 14:45". so I returned at the specified time a week later only to be told I didn't have an appointment at all, that my next one was my hygienist appointment two weeks away at 14:45 - so they must not have checked the nature of the appointment! By way of apology for the mix up the Receptionist then told me "the Dentist wouldn't have been able to book an appointment for a week away anyway, they don't have that kind of availability". I forgot to add that I also overheard what was supposed to be a private conversation with another patient as a Dentist had taken them aside, around the corner of the waiting area - but not far enough away to be private. On the whole, I am not impressed.
