My experience with this practice has been alarming to say the least!!
I contacted them presenting pain due to a foreign body (a raspberry seed) stuck in my gum. The dentist I saw was called Nabil Al-Bayaa. He seemed very disinterested when explaining why I was there and the history, then he used an xray to find the raspberry seed lodged deep in my gum, despite it being organic matter that wouldn’t even show up anyway and instead offered me to buy a gum shield to treat the symptoms of the issues occurring due to the foreign object, while refusing to actually investigate and eradicate the issue. Then when I researched and realised this wouldn’t show up, I highlighted this and complained regarding the lack of care and service provided while trying to extract further monies. As a result, I was told that as I have shown a lack of confidence in the practice, to seek any further assistance with the issue elsewhere. Not even any attempt to rectify or redeem their incompetence.
They also initially refused to refund my payment despite not actually providing any care or assistance, then put the onus on me to contact them to process it. Then said I needed to attend in person with the physical card before any refund could be issued… In the electronic world of 2026.
This is just another NHS practice dismissing the experiences of a black woman presenting in pain. They obviously know my body and what I’m feeling better than me. Adding insult to injury by refusing a refund, then withholding monies unless I jump through hoops. This dental practice cares more about their profits and upselling than they do about patient care and it shows. The only sound advice available about this place is to go elsewhere.
