St Kilda Kilts

I have just received another pair of beautiful trews from this company. They are in the Urquhart weathered variant of our tartan - or the hunting variant if you are over the pond. I also received at the same time a lovely pair of kilt flashes cut from the same cloth. They too are fantastic and a great credit to Myles and his group of artisans. I can’t thank them enough for their efforts and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in the market for Highland wear. Don’t go to the rest - GO TO THE BEST.

To cut a long story short, I live in Rochdale and was concerned about sending the wrong measurements and then receiving an outfit that didn't fit properly. I asked if I could come up to Glasgow to be measured at the factory and was told that wouldn't be a problem. Suffice to say that when my Prince Charlie outfit arrived, it fitted perfectly. And now, just over a year later, I've added a Tweed jacket and waistcoat, using my measurements, which have been kept on file. As can be seen in the photos, both outfits look excellent, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend St Kilda to anyone looking for any form of Scottish clothing and accessories. Thank you once again.

Couldn't be happier First of all, the customer service from this company is beyond amazing. I corresponded with two people directly, Miles and John, and both were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the entire experience exceptional. Their shipping is baffling, credit to DHL, but my kilts made it from Glasgow, Scotland to Yukon, Oklahoma in two days once they shipped, which was within 48 hours of the projected completion date. My first order of clearance items I received in less than a week. The quality of their products is superb, especially for the price. I ordered 2 custom PV top stitched casual kilts for £100 each plus shipping and I couldn't be happier with them. It is a lightweight,11oz polyviscose, so a much different feel from 16oz wool that I was used to, but once I got used to the new feel, I like them just as much as my wool ones, maybe even a little better. The polyviscose tartan has brilliant, bold colors. I don't plan on using a machine wash, even though it's supposedly safe to do so. If you are in the UK, you can't beat their clearance prices. Even with an international shipping fee of £40, my first order from this company was enough pairs of clearance kilt hose at £2 per pair so that even with the shipping cost, they were still cheaper than buying them stateside. When I ordered my kilts, they even threw in some extra clearance hose free of charge. They appreciate their customers and try to build relationships. It's like shopping at a mum and pop shop from across the pond. This is definitely the first place I go to for new Highland wear. Fantastic experience with St Kilda, Miles answered my emailed questions promptly and in detail. I ordered the kilt as discussed, when my mum rang me to say she'd found her old one and would I like that. I dropped Miles an email to ask if it was possible to cancel, he not only said that would be fine but also held the material (this was to be a reduced price kilt using an end of roll fabric) until my mums kilt reached me and I confirmed it fitted, at which point the refund was processed within an hour. Truly phenomenal customer service, and if I ever gain a little weight I will be straight back to St Kilda for a larger kilt - mum was pretty slim back in the day! Highly recommended.

I ordered a great kilt and they were very clear about how the mill could not produce the requested tartan until a few months later. The kilt shipped from Glasgow to Texas in two days. Throughout the whole process they responded to emails quickly and thoroughly and even sent a complimentary kilt pin for the extended wait. Highly recommended
