We decided to start Natural Touch after discussing how to restructre our lives to better fit with what we were looking to do.
I'd quit my job in sales & marketing 8-9 months previous to this and being helping cover the bills by buying and selling online; this still didn't give me the sense of achievement or purpose I was looking for.
Dawn had become disillusioned with her work was hungry for a new challenge; something that was ours and we could work together on.
We wanted flexibility so that one of us could be on hand to look after our little girl and in the future possibly home school her. We have over the last couple of years become more and more interested in sustainable living, growing our own food, keeping chickens, looking at what harmful chemicals we expose ourselves too, alternative therapies...you get the idea.
That's when we began looking for a business we could start from home, that was flexible, didn't cost a small fortune to start and would make use of our skills. We looked at different franchises; we looked at what businesses we could start from scratch and eventually came across a company that supplied products and had an ethos that fit with our own. That is how Natural Touch came into being, we now work with Wikaniko, a UK company that supplies enviromentally friendly products free from harsh and potentially hazardous chemicals.
So we now have Natural Touch ready to go, a company that can supply you with family friendly, healthy, sustainable products. We also offer a house keeping service using these same products for you when you don't have enough time, because we understand life can be very busy, or maybe you just want a helping hand.
Our aim as a small new business is to provide a service that people come to rely on and trust in, whilst building a brand that can provide employment for local people which goes a little way to creating a healthier home and planet for you, us and the future.
