After a career break to have children, I wanted to return to work doing something I really enjoyed and felt passionate about. I had always loved baking for the family but wanted to combine this with my creative flair and keen eye for photography. As a Mum to three growing boys I needed a business that would fit around my busy lifestyle and it seemed like a natural step to turn my passion for baking into a profession.
Focusing initially on cakes and cupcakes, Cake Angel was born, and word quickly spread. The combination of delicious produce combined with my boutique styling, quickly gained momentum and a loyal customer base. Awards and accolades followed and artisanal baking and innovative approach gained an enviable reputation. Fast forward 8 years and Cake Angel continues to flourish. My boys are all grown-up, giving me more time to develop the business and to enjoy my passion for lifestyle photography and cycling around the beautiful Sussex countryside.
