Ok I know - it sounds a bit salacious but let me tell you about why I named my company 'A little bit Naughty'! When I was a little girl, I can remember my lovely Dad coming home from work on a Saturday evening with a big brown paper bag full of yummy sweeties. He had a very sweet tooth himself and would say, "it's ok to be a little bit naughty every now and then!". He always gave me the first pick before my Brother and my Mum (no favouritism there)!! So, although I sadly lost my lovely Dad to cancer back in 2005, when I launched my company in 2013, I couldn't think of a better name for it and feel that he's still with me in spirit. It's a shame he never got to try my cakes but I know he'd have loved them and always want to ensure they are up to his very high standards!
I am based in East Sussex, specialising in stunning totally unique homemade cakes, I cater for events and parties (large and small) within a 20 mile radius. However, for a larger event I can deliver further afield so please do contact me to discuss. Of course local collection is always welcome! I am set up for social distance collections at present in light of the Covid 19 outbreak.
I have always loved baking and have been making various cakes; biscuits and muffins for charity bake sales for many years. The only problem was in the past; I didn't have the space to bake large quantities, as I lived on a boat with a very small galley kitchen! I moved to the country in 2010 and after renovating our house, the 'cherry on the cake' (pardon the pun) was getting a great new kitchen installed and I haven't stopped baking since!
Over the past 10 years I have developed a mouthwatering menu of tempting cake recipes to cater for all tastes and dietary requirements including my new 'Virtuously Vegan' and 'Gloriously Gluten-free' ranges. I only use the best quality ingredients, home-grown or sourced locally where possible, and always use the freshest eggs laid by my own happy hens and very spoilt fat ducks! If you'd like to try my cakes for yourself, come and see me at Robertsbridge Village Hall on the first Saturday of every month (10am - 12pm) where I take a lovely selection of my delicious homemade cupcakes. I always have plenty of mini samples, so you can try before you buy!
As well as cakes, I also make homemade jams, jellies and chutneys. Most are made with fruits I grow in my garden or that I've sourced locally - so no pesticides or nasty chemicals, just delicious natural products. These tempting treats can be made as personalised party favours or make lovely gifts when put together into hampers. Check out my Jams page to see what’s currently available.
If having a fabulous cake that tastes as delicious as it looks is important to you, then you've come to the right place! Remember when you want fabulous cake, you need to be 'A little bit Naughty'!
