I brought a 3 bedroom static from my leisure homes, it was sited on the willows park , the site is owned by the Elliotts Chilton leisure.
There was no site agreement contract from Chilton leisure, which we all thought it wasn't something that correct, little did we realize the mistake we had made by buying with my leisure homes and being sited on a Chilton leisure site. After speaking to other sites the site agreement contract should have been given at the time off the purchase. So to my regrets on choosing my leisure homes, is that you can't sell to private buyers you have to sell to my leisure homes at a ridiculous small fee or it would have to be an off site sale. The Chilton leisure company told me I can only sell to my leisure stating they are not a selling site and if I chose to sell private it would have to be an off site sale. I was not told off this on purchase of the static and no agreement was signed to agree this if I would have known this I wouldn't of brought the static from my leisure homes. I have spoken to others and they all stated the same. I had to sell to my leisure for £4000 for a static worth between £11,000-14,000.
As for Chilton leisure they charge 365% on top of gas bill unit prices £58 worth of gas they charged £269 .£170 worth of electricity and gas I was charged £468, this was a quarterly bill I only spent 4 weeks at the van or in that time between Bill's..This was 3 bills a year. More expensive than a 3 bedroom house per year. I was told my electric and gas was capped when my bill was late on payment and had to pay £75 to put it back on, but when I got to the van it hadn't been turned off or capped at all keiran had ripped me off for the £75 . Sorry but this needs to be told. Be warned my leisure and Chilton leisure are obviously working as a team to ensure people are not told about energy fees and selling only to my leisure or it goes off site . I regret trusting my leisure , I wasn't told I had to sell to them , they actually told me I was able to sell privately if I needed to. Conmen come to mind. They come across really nice people but when there is no site agreement contract given you are at there Mercy. Be very careful, others had the same issues with my leisure homes and Chilton leisure. Just a response to your reply, facts that you need correcting on I brought the caravan in Nov 2020, no site agreement was given, and no notice that we can only sell to my leisure and Chilton leisure. 3years not 2 as you state. All my site fees where paid in full as was the energy bills, the caravan carpets where cleaned Everytime. It took 6 months to put a gate on the decking. I was told it was new ,it was 2nd hand.it took 2.5 years to get the caravan chained down. Chilton leisure charge 365% on top of energy bill, that's why the bill was 5weeks late, it took 3 weeks to get a response from keiran, why so high. I will point out the price was not based on the state of the caravan, as no one was bothered to vie before the sale and no one came to sign it over with me when I had cleared the caravan out. Even though they was given notice. As there response shows they are liar's, ask people onsite.
