Stayed with away resorts on tattershall lakes as we do quite often, indulgent lodge 30 misty bay was lovely and clean and nice and warm upon arrival. Can’t fault the location or the cleaners for doing a good job here. As with most lodges now or vans they’re showing their age and wear and tear. The issues we had was decking collapsing on the entrance which is dangerous in my eyes. Hot tub controls switched around so unsure what temperature was and had to call maintenance out, great hot tub guys very friendly! Hot tub lights didn’t work however nor did the wrap around ones on the decking so quite dark and dangerous to see at night time, especially with decking tilting and collapsing. WiFi non existent on this part of the park I’m afraid so talk to each other like it’s the 50s! Now what’s missed I feel is the pub, the on site tattershall lakes pub is a gem, nobody was in when we went but the food was incredible as was the host I think his name was Luke? Young man with the glasses? Sorry if that’s not you! Promised we would be back next week and we most certainly will! If I do have one super negative it’s that some of the guest services staff are a little abrupt or negative and will shut you down just like that, guys chill just listen to the customers needs and relax not everyone is wrong at the end of the day. Other than a good stay will return next week!

We arrived at a late dark night. The gate man was a perfect gentleman. He made sure we were headed into the correct area of this massive caravan park. The accommodation was really comfortable, especially for seven of us . The setting is beautiful, set around multiple lakes. The entertainment is endless, even as we were there in winter. We were belly laughing whilst playing mini golf , as we had a visit from the Grinch. Our game was totally interpreted by this Grinch , he would just appear at any time kick the ball out of play , pick up the ball and dissappear, then reappear. This made our day . The kids were in there best place. In our case there are chargers at the main area. So bothe our cars were catered for. One thing that was a bit of a pain. The queue for the Costa machine was never ended. Maybe the park owners should purchase a Costa franchise, that would be a money spinner. Brilliant as always. We have been coming here for over 12 years and it never disappoints. Caravan was, as always, brilliant. Hot tub was fantastic even in February. Staff at the Guest Services super helpful.

Amazing weekend staying in a luxury lodge, rooms all clean and nice and warm, hotub fantastic and very relaxing, even saw an otter on the lakes and some amazing nature! small things no hand soap of any kind in the bathrooms, shower basic, Wi-Fi connection, you have to pay for it if u want it any better, would love to visit again

Stayed last january and it was lovely but this time it was very disappointing. Everywhere online it's advertised as this big winterfest event but really there is hardly anything going on, no one around and also any food we tried to have we were told wasn't available and this was MANY things not just one, I think it's false advertisement when it comes to the winterfest of course in the colder months you expect it to be quieter but it was just a constant let down I would go again for sure as the park itself i love, and the location ect also outside of the park there are some lovely pubs to go too and some beautiful places to walk, I just wouldn't go this time of year again
