Lawson AutoTech

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. From start to finish, everything was professional, honest and incredibly efficient. The diagnostics were explained clearly and backed up with photographs, so I could see exactly what the problem was and understand why the repairs were needed. That level of transparency really gave me confidence. The pricing was excellent and far more reasonable than I expected. I genuinely thought my car was destined for the graveyard, but the team had it repaired and back to me the very same day. The speed of the repair was outstanding, and the quality of the work has been first class. It’s refreshing to find a garage that’s honest, knowledgeable, transparent and fairly priced. Excellent communication throughout, no hidden surprises, and fantastic value for money. I would highly recommend them to anyone and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Thank you for such an outstanding service!

Wonderful customer service, including use of technology to track booking and updates through process with extracts from diagnostic system as the mechanics diagnosed, got approval for work, and then resolved the issue. Staff were really professional, genuine and friendly, answering my non-expert questions. Being open at 7.30 is a great idea. Pricing was transparent, clear and agreed before work done. Great to see a local business flourishing and expanding by providing a premium service.

Five star service from the team at Lawson Auto Tech. Had a problem with the timing chain on my vehicle which had to be replaced ASAP, the reception team were very helpful and friendly, got my car booked in and a technician came and inspected my vehicle, got an email with a complete cost breakdown down the next morning and a time frame for the repair to be carried out. The work was completed on time and two of the vehicle parts on the estimate weren't eventually required which was a considerable cost saving. I'd definitely use Lawson Auto Tech in the future and will recommend them to my friends, well done guys

After booking my car in to be repaired , I ended up with a bill of £565 for work done . My car was not repaired . Make sure you ask from the outset how likely they are to be able to actually repair your car . I didn’t and have learned a harsh lesson . I wasn’t given the impression that a repair wasn’t going to be possible until I got the bill . I can’t afford that kind of money to not get my car repaired , so it’s not a garage I would use again . *Edit * In response to your reply to my review , I remember you mentioning a company in the possilpark area that “ might be able to help “ . You specifically said a special “ jig “ was required to re-align the roof , and you didn’t know who would have one . If there was 3 companies that could carry out the repair you would need to name them , because I have no recollection of these companies . I didn’t say you definitely said you could fix it . I said you never once indicated that you may not be able to before I was given my invoice . There’s a big difference . As a result of this I have now returned the car to the finance company as I can’t afford to spend more money without guarantee of it being fixed .

Finding your company has brought me the peace of mind I need! You have gained my trust completely with your professional expertise and especially your transparency. Barry has recently sat with me twice, going through the diagnostic tests in a manner that helped me understand the error codes and the action plan. You will definitely be my go-to people for both my car and motorhome. It is so reassuring to find a company with integrity. In fact, you’ve shown me how you go above and beyond! Also really wonderful that you have very reasonably priced courtesy cars available for customers. Thank you! What a fabulous team!
