My vehicle developed a fault late on a Sunday night fortunately at a hotel just around the corner from Lawson Autotech. I was up in that area for a course which was 7 miles away. I called them at 7.45 am Monday morning and was told to take the vehicle to them and they would take a look. Vehicle was to be put on a diagnostic check later that day so they gave me a courtesy car to attend my course. It turned out that the car was not driveable and needed recovery by the RAC to be repaired at home. The staff allowed me to use the reception gave me coffee and biscuits and offered me sandwiches whilst I waited. The recovery actually took a couple of days and I left the keys with the garage so that I could return home. They looked after myself and my vehicle extremely well. The staff were friendly professional and very helpful even giving me a lift to the local train station to catch my train. I can not thank them enough for making a stressful situation for myself as easy as possible. A great place and I'm quite sure they would have done a great job with repairing my car had I needed them to. Thanks to them all a great asset to the local community.

Lawson AutoTech recently looked at our car after it broke down on a family holiday and had to be recoverd nationally. Unfortunately it was a mechanical write off and had to be scrapped, however they were brilliant and really understanding, and allowed us to keep the car at the garage until it was recovered by the scrap dealer. This took a week to get done, as it was cancelled twice by the recovery agent, but Lawsons were really accommodating. Thanks again for all the help. 🤘

Awful place I find them selfish and insensitive . They charge £125 for a “Plug and Play” diagnosis, told me the vehicle is not worth repairing then offered to scrap it for £200 , take their £125 so I can have a total of £75 for a vehicle I bought few months ago, when I declined , they started threatening to charge me for keeping the vehicle in their yard for extra days since I couldn’t get it towed on time. I was fooled by the positive comments here, pls avoid if you’ve not got big pockets on your pant.

Fantastic service. I’ve noticed a braking fault, which I’ve repeatedly been told by another garage, didn’t exist. On recommendation I booked here-diagnostic check carried out within hours. I was sent a comprehensive email detailing the problem (complete with photos) and repair costs itemised. Car was back on the road within the day! Chatty, helpful staff on reception and although I didn’t meet the mechanics my car seems happier and so am I! Have already recommended to others in the family. Thanks again!

Excellent customer service, everything explained really clearly and priced fairly, I was kept informed with regular updates and my car is now running smoothly. Highly recommended, I will definitely be bringing my car here again in future!
