Gatwick Airport Taxi

Excellent all round service from the polite and friendly person taking the booking and sending a confirmation text with the minicab information which arrived very quickly. The minicab which arrived was very smart and spotless and clean, driven by a very friendly driver who even checked if we needed the air conditioning on. Really great service and will definitely use Express Cars again and recommend to family and friends.

TRULY DREADFUL Decided to give local business a go rather than Uber. Pre-ordered an 8 seater taxi to get me to the station for a late night train, taxi would arrive at 11:55pm to pick us up. Got a call at allotted time saying they would be ten minutes, understand that can happen, but a 4 seater taxi turns up. The driver said there was probably another one on the way so four of us left and the others waited. Nothing turned up so they got an Uber but missed the train. Fortunately managed to get one but about 45 minutes later but still missed connections further down the line. I get a text at 12:40 saying your taxi is on its way !! Really useful that was. Of course they changed me the £33 for an 8 seater which I never got. And no one has bothered to get in touch. Please do NOT rely on this firm. Absolutely awful and ruined what was a great night out. Refund please! The one star is for our driver who despite all the shenanigans and upset passengers was very polite.

DO NOT USE! THEY CAUSED US TO MISS OUR FLIGHTS!! I had been using this company for minor journeys for my elderly mother for a couple of years and gave them the new responsibility of getting my family to the airport on time. First of all the 2 taxi's arrives late - i ordered it for 630am, 1 arrived at 636am and the other at 640am! Not only were they late they were the wrong size vehicles!! I specifically called and asked for 2 people carriers stating that we have 10 suitcases and 5 passengers. Granted I did not mention 5 pieces of hand luggage because they are small and can go on each of our laps. The office sent 2 saloon cars!!!! 1 was even a type of sports car with a very low roof at the rear end! When I called he had the cheek to say i am changing my words because I asked for a saloon car. Who calls a taxi firm, mentions they have 10 suitcases and asks to send a saloon car?!! Utter nonsense!! Even minus the hand luggage 5 people would not have fit in the cars!!! I had to call an additional uber to transport the remaining 3 of us! It gets worse! I requested to be dropped off at East Croydon TRAIN STATION - but not the main entrance, the back entrance via Dingwall road/lansdown Rd and he asked me the other side near to box park, i said yes near the roundabout. They dropped our luggage at the entrance to actual Box Park!! How heartless can you be, full well knowing the drop off location is the train station but take the opportunity to take advantage of my elderly mothers ignorance and my brother who is not from the area and drop them with 10 suitcases at a different location?! They dropped all of our luggage in the cycle lane outside Nandos. How awful!!! The amount of abuse cyclists were hurling at my mother when I arrived, I felt so sad for her. People shouting Get your **** out of the cycle lane! Instead of the office to take accountability and admit they made a huge error, they accuse me of lying! Listen to your call recordings!!! How dare you?! This is what you get for trying to support small businesses!

I had to use this cab service 4 times yesterday to take and pick up my elderly dad for some hospital appointments. The drivers on every occasion were so prompt and helpful. They went above and beyond in helping my dad. Thank you!

I was fed up of ubers that often cancel. I called a local cab, they came on time and were really helpful fitting loads of luggage in coming home from the airport.
