We’re a multilingual social enterprise that helps people in need, with branches in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and soon – Walsall! Our main goal is to help people, not to maximize our profits, so you can count on us! We got years of experience, friendly, understanding staff that will not judge, regardless of your problem. Whatever your problem - we're here to help!
A little about us: Communities Advice Centre was established on August 3rd 2012 in Scunthorpe by Barbara Perry who is a local community person and she saw the need in helping Eastern European community locally as there was not much help available. This project proven to be a success and two years later, we opened a new office in Grimsby, where we still are growing strength to strength.
During last four and half years we helped many, many people from different backgrounds, countries and we’re highly recommended and respected by all our associates. Our main objectives include: advice and guidelines on benefits and legal system in UK, interpretation and advocacy (including representation in tribunals), helping and creating opportunities for communities, assistance with learning and employment and now very popular accounting service.
As mentioned before, we would like to announce our upcoming expansion to Walsall in February 27th. A brand-new office with our new partners: Notus financial services who offered us space free of charge for us to enable help more people in need. With this expansion, we will be shortly looking for friendly, bright and enthusiastic people to join our team! So, watch the space!
